1.“Window To Wonderland” 72”x72”, oil on canvas. Matt explains how this painting is inspired by the animated Disney “Alice in Wonderland” and how she daydreams in the daisies. For Matt, this is “a romantic view of Downtown Tulsa”.
2. This is an example of Matt’s mosaic work using Smalti, tesserae as well as glass gems. This is an inset in the receptionist desk of a local veterinarian.
3. This is the Scissortail Fly Catcher, the state bird of Oklahoma. A multi media welded sculpture Matt created for The District shopping center, in Pryor OK. This piece is 25’ wingspan and 28’length. It is made up of found farm and tractor objects as well as wrought iron and car parts.
4. “Boomer T. Pickens” oil on canvas, 36”x36”. This portrait of a White Lab in the Arkansas Pine Bayous is a good example of Matt’s pet portraiture. “ I really like how the background of this piece came out” says Matt.
